Join us once a month in the upper room at the Royal Oak, High Street, Eccleshall for a performance of a selected film.


The Community Cinema was started in February 2015 from an idea by Colin Burley. It is run by a small committee of volunteers and some keen helpers.

The project is indebted to the former Eccleshall Players who have donated their remaining funds to the Community Cinema.

We have a 4-metre screen and high quality surround sound and projection equipment in both
DVD and Blue-Ray.

We have eighty seats for patrons.


On production of your ticket for the evenings performance you may choose to partake of the special Royal Oak meal offer

The Royal Oak have arranged a special Meal Offer to our film-goers. Just show your ticket to receive this special offer on the evening of the show.

The cinema seats 80 customers.

Admission is by a £5 ticket purchased from a number of town centre businesses, The Royal Oak, Corner Patch, The Artisan, Perry’s the Butcher and James Du Pavey.

This wonderful Joules’ pub in Eccleshall High street is the home of the Community Cinema. The upstairs room is accessible by a flight of stairs and there are helpers on hand to assist anyone with mobility issues.

Because we try to show current films we are governed by release dates. All films advertised are dependent on our being able to get a license to show them
